Family Promise
Family Promise uses existing community resources plus a network of local faith communities and volunteers to provide shelter, meals, comprehensive support services and compassionate assistance to homeless families. First Bapt
ist Kernersville is pleased to particiate in this community outreach program by hosting local families.
First Baptist will host families during several weeks in 2012. At this point, we are scheduled for Feb. 19-26, Apr. 22-29, and June 24-July 1. It takes about 50 volunteers each week to provide necessary services. Volunteer opportunities include setup and take down, meal service, overnight stays, and transportation.
